Cascade Magnet

The SOLLAU cascade magnetic separator is designed for free-fall and pipeline systems in which large quantities of product are processed and where the use of other types of magnetic separators would be difficult or even impossible. The cascade magnetic separators can process large quantities of product thanks to the magnetic plates positioned against the walls of the chute. The cascade shape of the housing ensures that the material remains in contact with the magnets and the metal contaminations are filtered out.

Cleaning the magnetic separator

The cascade magnetic separator is equipped with multiple extraction plates. By manually releasing the magnetic part of the extraction plates and disconnecting it from the extraction plate, the metal contaminations lose their grip and fall away from the plates. SOLLAU chute magnetic separators are available in various designs with different strengths in the magnetic field.
