Eddy Current separator

Description
Eddy Current separators are used for cleaning non-magnetic (non-ferrous) metals from bulk flows. An even supply of material is important for a good separation of non-ferrous metals, for example via a vibrating chute or conveyor belt
How the Eddy Current magnetic separator works
The principle of the ECS-C Sollau separator (Eddy Current Separator-Concentric) of non-ferrous metals is based on the so-called eddy currents. These separators have a conveyor belt system with a very fast rotating magnetic rotor at the end, which is equipped with strong neodymium magnets. As a result, any conductive particle that is in this area becomes magnetic for a limited time and is thus ejected from the belt and separated from the bulk flow.
Other parts are the vibratory feeder with hopper, the electronic control system (PLC with frequency converters) and the steel housing. We also offer an optional magnetic pulley for the pre-cleaning of the incoming materials contaminated with ferromagnetic particles.
