Free-Fall Metal Detector

Description
The FORTRESS free-fall metal detector is ideally suited for the inspection of dry, powdery or granular products that can be fed through the pipeline of a processing machine using gravity.
The FORTRESS free-fall metal detectors are available in lacquered aluminium or stainless steel with a wide selection of opening sizes. The detector can be custom assembled in different ways thanks to a support frame.
An automatic reject system can be incorporated to remove contaminated product from the stream; this is regulated by air pressure. We advise putting the product through the metal detector using an UHMW antistatic pipe. There is also a drawer for collecting the test ball, which simplifies manual testing.
In addition to the standard free-fall metal detector, there is the compact Vertex metal detector for specific packaging designs with little space. This is often positioned between a Multihead weigher and a vertical packaging machine.
