JT Skewer machine

The JT Skewer machine is a unique automatic system for the production of meat skewers. Manual methods are time consuming and leave marinade marks on skewer handles. The JT skewer machine makes it possible to produce skewers faster, cleaner and at a constant speed while maintaining a handmade look and feel.

The JT Skewer machine consists of a product cassette conveyor and a servo driven pricking unit. Different product elements, such as marinated chicken, pieces of vegetable, cherry tomatoes and meat balls, are manually placed into specially designed cassettes creating unique combinations. The cassettes are then fed into the servo driven pricking unit where the product elements are automatically pricked onto skewers creating a high quality end product with an authentic look and feel. The finished products can be laid onto a conveyor belt for further processing or they can be placed directly into trays for sealing in a thermoformer.
