COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA OF CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER CONTRACTORS
Please note that we collect and use the personal data you have provided to us because this is required to complete and implement any possible agreement with you. This applies both to our potential and current customers along with parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a customer or potential customer, we use your data in order to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or wishes a particular object or service will fulfil, to supply goods or to carry out work on your behalf, to issue invoices, and to easily and efficiently communicate with you regarding implementation of the agreement.
If you are a supplier, potential supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also required for agreeing and implementing a contract. On purchase, it is necessary to be able to notify you of which specifications or wishes a particular company or service will fulfil as far as we are concerned, to be able to send a quotation request or to place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you in a smooth, efficient manner regarding other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you do not provide us with personal data or you provide us with insufficient personal data, however, it is possible that we will not be able to carry out the above-mentioned work.
TRANSMISSION TO THIRD PARTIES
As part of the implementation of any agreement with you, it is possible that we will have to transmit your personal data to parties who supply us with components, materials and product or who carry out work on our behalf. In addition, we use external server space to save all or part of our sales and purchasing administration, of which your personal data may form part. For this reason, your personal data is made available to our server space provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for emails and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data are ultimately made available to the provider of this service.
If you order from us on a regular basis, we will save the data you have provided us with and use them in future to inform you by email of our existing and new products and services and potentially make you special offers. When using your personal data for this purpose, we have a legitimate interest, i.e. the sale of our products and services. Any time we send you advertising mailing, you have the option of informing us that you wish to unsubscribe. Please refer to the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD
Quotations sent to you or received by you will remain stored in our system unless you make an objection and/or indicate in writing that you wish otherwise. In addition, we make use of the legal obligation to retain our administration for a period of 7 years. This falls within the retention period obligation for the tax authorities.
You have the right to request to view your personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to amend inaccuracies. You also have the right to request that your personal data are deleted, or that the use of your personal data is limited. You can also submit an objection to us collecting and using your data or submit a complaint to the Personal Data Authority.
