Across the globe, people are becoming more and more aware of the fact that we can't simply do what we want - we have to consider the world in which we are living. If we want to keep enjoying our planet in future, we have to take action!
As mechanists in Putten, we consider it highly important to take responsibility where we're based too. This is why we’re involved in a working group by the name of “Onuitputtenlijk duurzaam” (inexhaustibly sustainable). We participate in order to increase awareness of sustainability both in the Putten area and beyond, but also to be more conscious in the way we handle:
- Reducing our CO2 footprint.
- Setting a good example as a socially involved company by offering places to people with some distance from the job market and assist with reintegration.
- Producing sustainably by streamlining our waste flows and reusing materials if possible.
