The SOLLAU magnetic plate separator is the most simple and cheapest magnetic separator for removing ferromagnetic parts from materials transported on a conveyor belt. This permanent magnetic separator is suitable for product streams with a low magnetic parts content.
Magnetic plate separator positioning
The magnetic plate is suspended above the conveyor belt and the magnetic impurities are captured at the bottom of the magnetic plate. The metal particles accumulated on the surface of the magnetic plate are removed manually. It is possible to move the lower part of the magnetic plate aside and carry out the cleaning or maintenance in a very easy and safe way.
The SOLLAU magnetic plate separator is usually equipped with strong permanent ferrite magnets, but on customer request, it is possible to use highly powerful neodymium NdFeB magnets.
