Description
The SOLLAU rotating magnetic separator with fast-cleaning system ensures an easy, highly efficient and fast separation of even the smallest magnetic metal parts up to 30 μm. The rotating magnetic separator has been designed for use on flowing products such as grains, flour, powder and sawdust, and products with a tendency to bridge and which may cause blockages in traditional magnetic grids.
How the rotating magnetic separator works
The base of the rotating magnetic separator consists of a system of rotating stainless steel magnetic rods. The rotating grid labyrinth created in this way is in highly intensive contact with the product and can catch even the smallest ferromagnetic parts, including magnetised stainless steel, on the surface of the rods. This system guarantees extremely high separation efficiency.
The SOLLAU rotating magnetic separator can be very quickly and simply cleaned, as all the contaminations captured on the grid surface fall when the magnetic core is pulled out of the stainless steel rods. The rotating magnetic separator is used widely in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, plastic, wood, construction and ceramic industries.
